Terms of Service

Golf League HQ ("GLHQ," "we," "us," or "our") Last updated: August 7, 2026

By creating an account or using Golf League HQ (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@golfleaguehq.app if you suspect unauthorized use.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Plans. GLHQ offers free and paid subscription tiers (League, Multi-League, Club/Org), described at golfleaguehq.app/pricing. Features and pricing may change; we will provide reasonable notice of material changes to paid plans.

Billing. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (currently annual) through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the applicable fees, including applicable taxes.

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account's billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods except where required by law.

Refunds. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis; contact support@golfleaguehq.app within 14 days of a charge.

League dues. Some leagues collect dues payments from players through the Service. GLHQ facilitates these payments but is not a party to the underlying agreement between the league and its members regarding dues amounts, use of funds, or refunds. Disputes about league dues should be directed to your league's commissioner or secretary.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any league or organization
• Upload or transmit harmful code, or attempt to interfere with the Service's operation or security
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell the Service without our written permission
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users (including through Trash Talk or league messaging features)
• Submit false scores or otherwise manipulate scoring, standings, or handicap calculations in bad faith

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (scores, messages, photos, etc.), but grant GLHQ a license to use, store, display, and process that content as needed to operate the Service — for example, showing your scores to your league, or including your handicap in standings.

You are responsible for content you submit and represent that you have the right to submit it.

6. Golf-IQ and Performance Data

Golf-IQ per-hole statistics are self-reported by players and provided for informational and personal-improvement purposes. GLHQ does not verify the accuracy of self-reported statistics and makes no guarantee regarding their completeness or correctness.

7. Handicaps and Scoring

GLHQ calculates handicaps and standings based on data entered by users and league administrators, following the World Handicap System (WHS) methodology where applicable. GLHQ is not affiliated with the USGA or any official handicap authority, and handicaps calculated within the Service are not an official USGA Handicap Index unless your league has independently established that connection. Leagues and players are responsible for verifying scores and disputing errors through their league's normal process.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

We are not responsible for disputes between players, leagues, commissioners, or golf courses arising from use of the Service, including disputes over dues, scores, handicaps, or league administration decisions.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLHQ AND ITS OWNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason, with or without notice. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

11. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida.
