Getting Started

Welcome to Golf League HQ.

Golf League HQ brings the things you need for league night together in one place — scoring, handicaps, match play, standings, substitutes, and more.

Whether you're joining an existing league or creating one of your own, getting started only takes a few minutes.

Overview

Your first steps depend on why you're here.

If your commissioner or league administrator invited you to Golf League HQ, you'll create your account and use the invite code they provided to join your league.

If you're starting a new league, you can create your own organization and then create your first league.

Once you're set up, your Dashboard becomes your home base.

Before You Begin

To create your Golf League HQ account, you'll be asked for:

• First name
• Last name
• Email address
• Password
• Date of birth

Your date of birth is used to determine whether you're eligible for Senior Tees.

You'll also have the option to make yourself available in your organization's sub pool. Don't worry if you're not sure about this yet — you can change your sub availability later in Settings.

Step-by-Step

1. Create your account

Start by creating your personal Golf League HQ account.

You'll enter your basic information and choose whether you'd like to make yourself available as a substitute.

After signup, Golf League HQ takes you to your welcome screen.

2. Choose what you want to do

When you first arrive, you won't belong to any leagues yet.

Golf League HQ gives you two paths:

Join a League Choose this if a league administrator has sent you an invite code.

Create a League Choose this if you're setting up and managing a new league.

3. Join your league

If you're joining an existing league, select Join a League and enter the invite code provided by your league administrator.

Once your code is accepted, you'll be connected to that league.

4. Or create your own league

If you're starting a new league, Golf League HQ first asks you to create an organization.

Think of your organization as the home for your leagues and players.

After creating the organization, you'll create your first league by entering its name and description and choosing whether the league should be public or private.

5. Head to your Dashboard

Once setup is complete, you're ready to use Golf League HQ.

Your Dashboard gives you an at-a-glance view of important league information, including:

• Active Leagues
• Total Players
• Next Round
• Dues Outstanding

You'll also find Quick Actions for common tasks such as:

• Add Player
• Schedule Round
• Start Scoring
• Subs

Common Questions

Do I need to create an account before joining a league?

Yes. Your Golf League HQ account identifies you as a player and gives you access to your leagues, profile, rounds, scoring, and other player features.

What if I don't have a league invite code?

Contact your league administrator for the correct invite code.

If you're starting a new league instead, you can choose Create a League and create your own organization.

Why does Golf League HQ ask for my date of birth?

Your date of birth is used to determine whether you're eligible for Senior Tees. Your commissioner approves Senior Tee eligibility before Senior Tees become active for your profile.

Do I have to join the substitute pool?

No. Sub availability is optional, and you can change your selections later in Settings.

Can I create my own league?

Yes. Choose Create a League during setup. Golf League HQ will walk you through creating your organization and then your first league.
