Approving a Scorecard

Golf League HQ uses scorecard approval to complete the scoring process.

After a scorecard is verified and locked, the appropriate opponent is given the opportunity to review it and either Approve or Dispute the scores.

Overview

When it's your turn to approve a playing partner's scorecard, Golf League HQ displays a clear approval prompt.

You have two choices:

  • Approve
  • Dispute

Before You Begin

The scorecard must first be completed and verified.

Verification locks the scorecard and sends it into the approval process.

Step-by-Step

1. Open the approval prompt

When it's your turn to review the scorecard, Golf League HQ displays the approval controls.

The approval prompt with Approve and Dispute.

2. Review the scorecard

Check the scores before making your decision.

3. Approve correct scores

If the scorecard is correct, select Approve.

4. Dispute a scorecard when necessary

If there's an issue with the scorecard, select Dispute.

Once both cards are approved, net scoring becomes visible.

Printed Cards and Approval

Approval always happens on the digital scorecard. A signed printed card is supporting evidence if a score is disputed, so return it to the Secretary named on the card.
