Handicaps

Golf League HQ brings handicap-adjusted scoring into your league experience so you can see both what you shot and how that performance translates into net scoring.

For players, most of the work happens automatically. Your job is to keep your player information accurate, enter the correct scores, and complete the score verification process.

Overview

Several parts of your Golf League HQ experience can affect or relate to handicap-adjusted scoring.

These include:

  • Your Preferred Tee
  • The tees available for the course being played
  • Senior Tee eligibility
  • Your completed scorecard
  • Score verification and approval

Once the required scores are approved and locked, Golf League HQ displays your net score and handicap-adjusted +/-.

Before You Begin

Before league play, review your Profile and make sure your player information is current.

Two profile settings are especially relevant to tee assignment and handicap-related scoring:

  • Preferred Tee
  • Date of birth

Your Preferred Tee can be used by the pairing system for handicap calculation when the round's course has a matching tee.

Your date of birth is used to determine Senior Tee eligibility.
